Anti-Cell Phone Group Opposes Cell Phones

In the last couple of days, numerous press outlets have reported that 'scientists' are disputing a study from last year which showed no danger from cell phone use. Using the word 'scientists' in this way is commonplace in the media, making it sound as if all the scientists in the world got together and in the same room to say something.

In reality, there are no real scientists involved, just a press release from the Environmental Health Trust, an advocacy group that raises money by trumping up hysteria over cell phones. Shouldn't it be noted in the news reports that the group being quoted is entirely dedicated to opposing cell phone usage? Is it surprising that such a group doesn't like a study (and not the first such study) showing their views are wrong? Is this news?

Better yet: the head of the Environmental Health Trust is Devra Davis, a woman who has previously praised the scientific acumen of...the Nazis.
