Though such reliably stupid organs as the Toronto Star talk about the latest federal budget as though it has shrunk government spending to just a few cents a year, even the CBC notes that the budget is, in fact, ridiculously tame. It essentially cuts spending and the federal workforce back to the levels of - hold your breath - last year.
